C&L Refrigeration

If your coils don't look like the one in the photograph, they are not allowing outside air to easily pass through the aluminum fins that surround the heated copper condenser lines, which help to rapidly dissipate heat. When the aluminum fins of the coils become plugged or even slightly covered with dirt, the unit is incapable of rapidly removing heat. Operating temperature of the unit begins increasing, the unit draws additional amperage to compensate which uses additional electricity. When the compressors are running at above normal operating temperatures they will begin to break down the lubricating properties of the compressor oil which could eventually lead to premature compressor failure.

The efficiency of an air conditioning unit can be greatly increased by simply cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils. This energy savings will dramatically help offset the total cost of having our technicians clean your coils. Maintaining your HVAC equipment effectively increases energy savings and reduces business downtime due to equipment failure and helps keep your employees happy. A combination of cleaning the coils, higher efficiency filters, and a good preventative maintenance program all contribute to lowered energy bills.

At C&L we are environmentally friendly and are in compliance with California EPA rules and regulations. With each coil cleaning we:

  • Use "Green Clean," an environmentally friendly solution
  • Block all sewage and storm drains to avoid runoff from cleaning
  • Direct runoff to an approved waste area
  • Lock/ Tag Out all electrical disconnects or power sources to equipment
  • Use a wet/dry vacuum pump for runoff if necessary
  • Remove any runoff waste from jobsite

  • Removes Harmful Pollutants
  • Saves Energy
  • Increased Efficiency
  • Reduces Chances of Mold Growth
  • Reduces Costs
  • Helps Extend Equipment Life
